Pancreas Image Detection (PID) is an image analysis application that counts various cell types in images of the Pancreas. PID is jointly developed with Uppsala University, Sweden. The application counts number and alpha, beta and KI67-marked cells within the islets of Langerhans of the pancreas. It is used to increase the accuracy of cell counting and to speed up the process by orders of magnitude. In addition, the results are stored and viewed in the same application, increasing the likelihood of data-driven insights.
